1. Respect Operating Hours
- Though the gym is open 24 hours, please respect any quiet hours (if applicable) or maintenance schedules posted on-site.
2. Clean Up After Yourself
- Wipe down equipment after use with provided disinfectant wipes or spray.
- Dispose of all trash in designated bins.
3. Proper Attire Required
- Wear appropriate gym attire including closed-toe shoes.
- No sandals, flip-flops, or open-toed shoes allowed for safety reasons.
4. Use Equipment Properly
- Do not overload machines or weights beyond your capacity.
- Do not slam or drop weights; use equipment as intended to avoid damage or injury.
5. Time Limits on Cardio Machines
- Limit use of cardio machines (treadmills, ellipticals, etc.) to 30-45 minutes during peak hours if others are waiting.
6. Spotters and Assistance
- If you're lifting heavy weights, please have a spotter. If you need assistance with any equipment, ask staff.
7. Keep Noise to a Minimum
- Be mindful of noise levels, especially during late-night, early-morning and standard working hours. This includes music, talking, or equipment sounds.
8. No Grunting or Loud Noises
- Please refrain from excessive grunting, shouting, or other disruptive noises while lifting weights or exercising.
9. Mobile Phones
- Keep phone conversations short and respectful of others in the gym. Avoid taking calls in areas where people are actively exercising.
- If using your phone for music or videos, use headphones.
10. Be Courteous with Equipment
- Limit rest time on equipment if others are waiting.
- Always return equipment (dumbbells, barbells, resistance bands, etc.) to their designated places after use.
11. No Unsupervised Children
- Children under the age of 16 are not permitted unless accompanied by an adult or guardian, and only in areas designated for them (if applicable).
12. Follow Hygiene Standards
- Personal hygiene is important — do not use equipment if you are sick or showing symptoms of illness.
13. Report Damaged Equipment
- If you find any equipment that is broken, report it to staff immediately either in person or via email info@gymonthegreen.com
14. No Personal Training or Group Activities Without Permission
- If you wish to train clients or lead group workouts, you must be an approved personal trainer or have prior consent from management.
15. Security & Safety
- We have cubby holes for personal items. The gym is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- In case of emergency, alert staff or use the emergency contacts posted on-site.
- The gym does have CTTV which is monitored
16. Do Not Use Equipment in Unsafe Condition
- If any equipment appears damaged, malfunctioning, or unsafe, please stop using it immediately and report it.
17. Respect Fellow Members
- Be considerate of others’ space and exercise time.
- Allow others to work in sets if they are waiting for a machine.
18. Compliance with Staff Instructions
- Follow all instructions from gym staff and management. They are there to ensure safety, order, and cleanliness.
19. No Unauthorized Access
- Members must access the gym using their own membership. Unauthorized entry is prohibited.
20. No Smoking or Vaping
- Smoking or vaping is not allowed inside the gym or within 15 feet of the building.
21. Parking Lot Etiquette
- Be mindful of parking and avoid blocking spaces for others.
22. No Intimidation or Aggressive Behaviour
- This is a place of fitness for everyone — aggressive behaviour, intimidation, or bullying will not be tolerated.
